Finished...
Never thought it would happen but I've finally finished this one, though I'm not really sure what to think of it? Basically, I like it but feel it could be a lot better. I think there should be much more depth in the sky - it's too flat, but I'd already painted the angel before I realised. Oh well....some you win....blah blah! I have another two ready but the photo's have turned out funny so will have to redo them tomorrow.

Stop being so critical (says me who's exactly the same,lol). The angel is just darling and the simple skyline allows you to focus on the angel without distraction..

I love it! I really like the city- scape you added in the distant background too! You did a wonderful job and I wish I could paint just like you! Keep up the great work:)
Awww....thanks ladies! I think I've sussed what it is I'm not happy with - the fish! Now what to do about it, hmmm....?

such nice colors and texture in this piece. i love how the puppy's tummy shows. cute! i know how you feel when you finish a piece and feel like you'd like to immediately do it over because in doing it you've already grown as an artist and feel confident you'd do it better the second time. i think as artist e are always our own worst critics. it really is very well done!!
